Day 3: Join MashUp for their annual Giving Out Loud Brunch, celebrating the theme "Roses of Resilience." This year, we honor the strength, beauty, and perseverance of our community, much like roses thriving despite challenges.
A highlight of the event will be recognizing three extraordinary LGBTQ individuals who exemplify resilience through their contributions and unwavering spirit. Their stories will inspire us all to bloom where we are planted and continue our collective journey toward equity and inclusion.

With food trucks, entertainment, workshops, and community vendors, this event offers dynamic experiences, from interactive workshops to cultural showcases. Collaborating with LGBTQ+ organizations, holistic health and faith-based communities, and social justice advocates, we create a welcoming space that inspires unity, resilience, and joy. This event will be a free event, open to all community members.

We value your input. We hope you will take part in coming up with ideas and action steps to make health research more inclusive for Black and African American transgender, gender nonconforming, and gender diverse people. You will get a $50USD in exchange for your time.

The Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference is in-person and online. PRIDEnet's presentation will happen virtually for all of those who registered. Registration is free, and closed on August 30, 2024. Session Description: Improving LGBTQIA+ health care and research requires centering the voices of LGBTQIA+ community members. Community listening sessions are an effective tool for gathering direct feedback and ensuring that efforts reflect the principle of community engaged research. As a representative of PRIDEnet at Stanford University, Cassie Armea-Warren will share how we have used these sessions to inform projects like The PRIDE Study and the All of Us Research Program, highlighting lessons learned and offering practical insights for applying this approach in diverse settings.
