Day 3: Join MashUp for their annual Giving Out Loud Brunch, celebrating the theme "Roses of Resilience." This year, we honor the strength, beauty, and perseverance of our community, much like roses thriving despite challenges.
A highlight of the event will be recognizing three extraordinary LGBTQ individuals who exemplify resilience through their contributions and unwavering spirit. Their stories will inspire us all to bloom where we are planted and continue our collective journey toward equity and inclusion.

Day 2: An immersive community day celebrating the resilience and unity of our LGBTQ+ family. With food trucks, entertainment, workshops, and community vendors, this event offers dynamic experiences, from interactive workshops to cultural showcases. Collaborating with LGBTQ+ organizations, holistic health and faith-based communities, and social justice advocates, we create a welcoming space that inspires unity, resilience, and joy. This event will be a free event, open to all community members.

Generations is a free, annual event to celebrate Black and African-diasporic LGBTQIA+ community in Black History Month (February), with food, entertainment, and community awards. This year’s event will feature a performance by Oakland To All, plus a film screening and discussion panel to honor the 35th anniversary of the iconic film Paris Is Burning. November is National Diabetes Month, and Howard Brown Health, one of PRIDEnet's Community Partner Consortum members, is hosting a special event to raise awareness and provide resources for communities disproportionately impacted by diabetes. PRIDEnet is proud to participate by highlighting the importance of inclusive, community-engaged research in addressing health disparities within LGBTQIA+ communities. During the session, we will share insights from diabetes research through the All of Us Research Program and discuss how participants can get involved to help advance health equity.

The All of Us Journey is headed your way! The Journey features interactive activities, games, and more—all designed to demonstrate the power of your participation in health research. PRIDEnet will be with the All of Us Journey Bus on September 17th, 2024, for their visit at Norfolk State University (September 17-20).
